Sequential Sheet Guide

Reference examples for proper P→F sequential sheet structure for fiber/conduit utility projects.

Core Rules & Conventions

šŸ“„

P = Plan Sheet (Civil)

Shows the physical route — trench, bore, conduit layout, manholes, stations, and depths. One P-sheet per segment.

šŸ”µ

F = Fiber Plan Sheet

Mirrors the exact P-sheet boundary. Shows fiber buffer tubes, splice assignments, and OTDR points. Same station range as its paired P.

šŸ“

Tombstone Must Match P↔F

Both P and F sheets for the same segment must share identical Station From, Station To, footage, depth, and structure references (MH or HH numbers).

šŸ”—

Exit Coords Copy to Next Entry

The Exit coordinates of sheet N become the Entry coordinates of sheet N+1, creating a seamless chain. The system auto-copies these when using P→F sync.

šŸ”“ā†’šŸŸ¢

Pin Color = Completion Status

Pins are RED when sub-tasks remain open. They turn GREEN only when every sub-task checklist item is checked off. No sub-tasks = default fiber color.

Naming Convention

P sheets: C-1.0, C-2.0 … F sheets: C-1.0F, C-2.0F … Sequential order must be numerically consecutive for auto-detection to work.

Sheet Pairing Pattern

C-1.0 (P-1)
C-1.0F (F-1)
C-2.0 (P-2)
C-2.0F (F-2)
C-3.0 (P-3)
C-3.0F (F-3)

Every P-sheet (civil plan) is immediately followed by its paired F-sheet (fiber plan) covering the exact same station range.

āœ“ Run Complete — What This Demonstrates

  • 3 P-sheets + 3 paired F-sheets = 6 sequential sheets total
  • Tombstone data (From/To/Footage/Depth) is identical on each P↔F pair
  • Exit coordinates of each sheet chain into the entry of the next
  • Pins are šŸ”“ red on P-sheets (open tasks) and 🟢 green on F-sheets (complete)
  • Sheet numbers follow C-N.0 / C-N.0F naming for auto-detection
